Ducks fans new to the world of fanfic and established slashers alike, I present to you the following challenge: Write a believable Charlie/Fulton slash fic.

Yes, I did say “a believable Charlie/Fulton slash fic”. No need to readjust your computer screen. Also, as if that wasn’t enough, there are a few other requirements:

1. Fics must include canon material or references (no AU).

2. No getting around the Charlie/Fulton requirement by making the subjects ambiguous; Charlie and Fulton must both be recognizable by description, if not named outright.

3. Drabbles must be situated within the canon (between the beginning and the end of D1, the beginning and the end of D2, or the beginning and the end of D3).

4. Fics must not be less than 100 words in length.

5. Drunkfics must have at least one sober partner, or include a follow-up where both parties are sober.

6. Angsty, unrequited love fics are fine, but make them believable.

7. Fics in which both partners are not drunk, or the drunkenness does not contribute directly to the slash plot, must have one or both of the characters bisexual or bicurious, if not gay.

8. All fics, regardless of genre or length, must include the following:
· fluffy bunny slippers
· red, red wine (either the drink or the song)
· One of the following quotes:
· “Intelligence will only take us so far. Then we have to get out and walk”
· “This is your best friend here. You give whatever it takes even if it takes more than you got”
· “I’m Catholic, we believe in anything that makes us nervous.”

By the way, the quote must be said by a character in normal conversation, not found in another source (the TV, a radio DJ, a book)

The Rules of the Challenge

Must have:
+ Buffy tries to seduce Faith with a dance
+ The two of them kiss only ONCE. It can be anywhere in the fic. Choose wisely. *grin*
+ Buffy and the stud have a cat fight. A really pathetic one though cause remember guys, she’s NOT the slayer
+ Buffy and Faith are in a sex shop and they are suddenly interested in some specific toys. NO, they don’t use them, they just goof around with them in the store making them get kicked out. Just not with each other
+ a plastic Barbie ring being used as an engagement ring
+ Buffy meets the ‘stud’s’ parents and they love her to pieces
+ Faith’s LAST NAME IS NOT SPENCER!!!!!! I wanna see what else you talented people can come up with
+ someone regretting getting a tattoo
+ discussion about oral sex.~ Never got around to it. Maybe if I revise this fic *snort* it’ll find a place in there.

Set in season 6, Buffy is back but you don’t have to mention how. It can also be further in the future. Situation between Buffy and Spike: they get along very well as friends. Suddenly Riley comes back and Buffy (forgive her for this stupidity) sleeps with him. Please don’t make it that simple and just let them spend the night together. I would like to see why she does it and how she feels after it. But then Riley tells her that he has to leave again, going back to that army thingy where he had been the whole year. Buffy is totally miserable and runs to Spike who comforts her (No, not what you think!).

A month later or so Spike sees that Buffy has to barf all the time and draws conclusions: she is pregnant with Riley’s child.

Now it’s up to you what you make of this story because I will maybe want to write it one day when I have enough time. You can either write about how Spike helps her during this time only as friend or that they finally get together. Maybe Riley comes back when he finds out he will be father...up to you!

Set after “Crush”

Spike is very upset with the events of that day and wishes that Buffy was the one in his shoes. You decide whether a vengeance demon or anyone else grants his wish.

It can be like in the episode “The Wish” or that even he doesn’t know what the real world was like. So now it’s Buffy who stalks Spike and wants to be with him but he treats her real bad. All his friends (the scoobies) are very mean to her too.

At the end of the story the normal order of things is rebuilt but Buffy remembers everything and gives Spike a chance.
